Design in Details
The Owner: Hayat Abdullateef Jameel has approached HYKAL to prepare full design construction document for typical Riyadh model (pilot project) for chain of Fashion Institute Centres to be built on other five cities in Saudi Arabia. As the centre to be for Females, the designer respect the culture requirements and divided the centre of two floors into two main masses where all views to inside toward the internal courtyards. Classes and labs are distributed around as well as the Administration Department. A “Catwalk” stage has been introduced to be used for public events and fashion market. The institute centre building has been cascaded with different wall treatments and segments to give functionality and privacy as well as to reflect the message of the building nature. The building interior is respecting the needs of fashion trends equipped with flexible spaces.
